The tour will bring you to a local organic farm where you can learn about local sustainable and organic farming methods and the process of composting ( with the help of black soldier fly larves) which is pretty interesting and impressing.
You will first get a farm tour and afterwards you can harvest fresh green vegetables for the upcoming cooking class. During the farm tour you can discover local fruits and vegetables.
You will also see some wild honey production which can be purchased as well if available on the day you join this tour.
Afterwards the cooking class will start....you can look forward to some really special surprises such as selfmade green noodles, magic colour changing tea from butterfly pea flower and red and green spinache crackers which are super crunchy and yummy! We love that idea and you can easily try it back home as well.
Finally you will end this half day morning activity with a lovely healthy selfcooked lunch, surrounded by a beautiful and peacefull nature. Enjoy your meal!
You will be picked up and dropped off at your guesthouse in Bukit Lawang and go to the ecofarm by becak ( tuktuk).
Tour starts around 9am and takes about 3 hours.
