A first introduction into the Gunung Leuser National Park for limited time travellers, families with children and people who are not able to to make great physical efforts.
In about 3 hours you can allready experience the beauty of sumatras rainforest, spot some semi-wild orangutans, other monkeys and wildlife too. And you can learn some basic facts about local trees, plants and flowers.

NOTE: minimum 2 person / 5€ more per person if trek starts on sundays
If you want to do jungle trekking solo ,you are required to pay the cost for 2 people. If you are a solo traveller and do not wish to pay the price for 2 people, we can arrange for you to join other groups on location, if possible!
If you are interested to come back from jungle trekking in an traditional jungle way, you can do TUBE RAFTING for extra Euro 10 per person...which will be adventurous and funny at the end again!

TOUR DESCRIPTION:
Trek starts 9am from our familys guesthouse Bukit Lawang Indah and also ends there latest 1pm.
By entering the National Park, please follow our guiding rules ( no feeding and touching of wildlife, listen to your guide, keep distance from wildlife and behave quiet, dont leave any rubbish back in the jungle).
This short jungle journey starts with 1-2 hours hiking into the closer national park areas , whilst constantly looking for wildlife and listening to some great basic facts about local flora and fauna . We will also serve a fresh and yummy local lunch in the jungle and bring you back to our familys guesthouse afterwards.
