This tour brings you away from the touristic Bukit Lawang to the charming and isolated area of the LANDAK RIVER and on the way you will pass and enter the BAT CAVES.

Even with the opportunity to stay there one or more nights at the bungalow of BIRD´S NEST and do NIGHT FISHING.

Landak River is situated bordering the Gunung Leuser National Park. The natural surroundings there are just amazing,very quiet and peacuful.

As soon as you will arrive there,you will be automatically get more relaxed due to the power and spirit of that amazing plaze.

Furtherway you can find the unique TUALANG TREE there which is one of the tallest trees in the world.It can grow up to 70 meters tall.Your guide can tell you the special story about the very old Tualang Tree at Landak River.

Short Description:

After an slow 30 minutes walk through rubber plantations, you will first visit the Bat Caves.

For this, please bring a flashligt.Your guide will lead you inside the caves in which you will find amazing geological formations and lots of bats.

Afterwards you will walk again for around 30 minutes and your guide will bring you to peaceful and beautiful Landak River.

Here you will have time for swimming,relaxing and just enjoying the impressive view and surrounding!

The time you are getting hungry,you guide will start making a traditional Barbecue...enjoy your self-made jungle meal!

During the whole tour your guide will explain you many things about fruits, plants and animals passing your way.

BIRDs NEST

If you like it so much and want to stay overnight at Landak River,we can offer you one or more nights at the bungalow of BIRD´S NEST.

The bungalow of this guesthouse is located very close to the Landak River and directly in front of a lagoon for swimming.

It has one upstairs room with double bed (extra bed available),balcony with great view to the river,own bathroom with western toilet and western shower and cold water).

As it is located quite close to the river and jungle,you will quick find out how clear you can hear the sound and music of the jungle and the animals like monkeys and birds.Its a great experience to fall asleep by it or even be wake up by birds singing and monkeys shouting.

In the night time,you can try NIGHT FISHING.Thats adventure,fun and excitement!!!
